Having been to London a few times, aside form flying through Heathrow, it’s one of those places that reminds me of Sydney and San Francisco. Lots of western energy, diverse and hip people, interesting places, and until people start talking to you, it’s easy to forget that you’ve even left the US.

Not to say it’s not a unique place… it definitely is. In fact, there’s no place like London anywhere in the world. It’s like being at your parents’ house. You kind of feel like this is where modern civility was shaped and evolved and has become the standard by which we all sort of measure our refinement based on.

I wish I could remember all the cool places and restaurants, but maybe I’ll jump back in here later and write more about that like going to Stonehenge, or DJ equipment shopping…
